There is no official deadline for selecting a winner at the bounty’s end date
Last updated
Once the end date originally set by the bounty creator is triggered—officially at 11:59 PM UTC—the Clarity smart contract will automatically prevent any further submissions. At this point, no new participants can enter, and the selection process begins.
There is no official or systematic deadline for selecting a winner once the bounty’s end date has passed. While the system does not enforce a strict timeline, it’s best to review submissions and choose a winner promptly to maintain engagement and trust within the community. Prompt selection ensures that participants feel valued for their contributions and keeps the momentum going for future bounties. Delays can lead to frustration, discourage participation in future bounties, and create uncertainty among contributors. While there is flexibility, timely action is strongly encouraged to uphold the credibility of the bounty system and maintain a positive user experience.
