Nova is an AI blockchain and community assistant operated by Zero Authority DAO — covering Bitcoin, Stacks, Ordinals, 60+ EVM chains, and Solana, alongside community engagement features. Nova is available on Discord, Telegram, and as an embeddable web widget. By adding Nova to your server or group, messaging it, or using any of its features, you agree to these Terms of Service. {% hint style="info" %} **TL;DR** — Nova is an informational AI assistant, **not a financial advisor**. Blockchain data and AI answers can be wrong; always do your own research before acting on them. Don't abuse the bot, and remember that on-chain transactions are irreversible. If you don't agree with these terms, simply don't use Nova. {% endhint %} ## 1. The Service Nova provides: * AI-powered answers about blockchain networks, tokens, wallets, NFTs, and market data * Configurable alerts and notifications (price, swaps, NFTs, wallets, whales, smart alerts) * Community engagement features (stats, leaderboards, quests, daily snacks) in participating servers * Optional premium features with higher limits Nova is provided "as is" and may change, gain, or lose features at any time without notice. ## 2. Eligibility You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required by Discord or Telegram in your country) to use Nova. By using Nova you confirm you meet this requirement and that you also comply with the [Discord Terms of Service](https://discord.com/terms) and [Telegram Terms of Service](https://telegram.org/tos) where applicable. ## 3. Not Financial Advice {% hint style="warning" %} **Nothing Nova says is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.** {% endhint %} * Prices, market data, token analytics, and on-chain information are provided **for informational purposes only** and may be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect. * AI-generated responses can contain errors or "hallucinations." Always verify important information independently. * Cryptocurrency markets are volatile and risky. Any decision to buy, sell, swap, or hold digital assets is **yours alone**, and you bear full responsibility for it. ## 4. Blockchain Transactions Some Nova features interact with public blockchains (e.g. premium payments, transaction-related tools): * **Blockchain transactions are irreversible.** Neither Nova nor Zero Authority DAO can cancel, reverse, or refund a confirmed on-chain transaction. * You are solely responsible for verifying addresses, amounts, and transaction details before signing or sending anything. * Network fees, congestion, and failures of underlying blockchains are outside our control. * You are responsible for the security of your own wallets, keys, and funds at all times. ## 5. Acceptable Use You agree **not** to: * Use Nova for anything unlawful, including fraud, market manipulation, money laundering, or evading sanctions * Attempt to bypass rate limits, abuse free-tier limits with multiple accounts, or disrupt the service (spam, flooding, denial of service) * Attempt to extract Nova's system prompts, exploit the AI to produce harmful content, or probe/attack our infrastructure * Resell or rebrand Nova's responses or data feeds as your own service without permission * Use Nova to harass, scam, or harm other users * Use Nova in a way that violates the [Discord Terms of Service](https://discord.com/terms), [Discord Community Guidelines](https://discord.com/guidelines), or [Telegram Terms of Service](https://telegram.org/tos) We may rate-limit, restrict, or block users, servers, or groups that violate these terms, at our sole discretion. ## 6. Premium * Premium is billed as a **one-time on-chain payment** (in USDh, STX, or sBTC) for a fixed duration (monthly or yearly). It does not auto-renew. * Because payments are on-chain, **completed payments are non-refundable**, except where required by law. If something goes wrong with a payment (e.g. paid but premium did not activate), contact the team and we will make it right. * Premium limits and features may evolve over time; material reductions will be communicated in our community channels. ## 7. Privacy Our handling of your data is described in the [Privacy Policy](/nova-bot/privacy-policy.md). In short: Nova only reads messages directed at it, keeps conversation context briefly, and never sells your data or uses it to train AI models. ## 8. Third-Party Services & Platform Terms Nova relies on third-party platforms and data providers (Discord, Telegram, Anthropic, blockchain APIs, market data providers). We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or actions. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms. * These terms are an agreement **solely between you and Zero Authority DAO**. Discord, Telegram, and Anthropic are not parties to these terms and bear no responsibility for Nova. * Nothing in these terms supersedes, modifies, or overrides the [Discord Terms of Service](https://discord.com/terms) or [Telegram Terms of Service](https://telegram.org/tos). If anything here conflicts with a platform's terms, the platform's terms prevail with respect to your use of that platform. * Nova is an independent third-party application. It is **not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by** Discord Inc., Telegram, or Anthropic. ## 9. Intellectual Property Nova's name, branding, code, and documentation belong to Zero Authority DAO. You may use Nova's responses for your own personal or community purposes. Public blockchain data remains public. ## 10. Availability We aim to keep Nova online but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Nova may be unavailable due to maintenance, upstream outages, platform issues, or other causes. Alerts and notifications are delivered on a best-effort basis — **do not rely on Nova as your only safeguard for time-sensitive or financially critical events.** ## 11. Disclaimer of Warranties The service is provided **"as is" and "as available"**, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. ## 12. Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zero Authority DAO and the Nova team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages — including lost profits, lost funds, lost data, or trading losses — arising from your use of (or inability to use) Nova, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us for premium in the 12 months preceding the claim. ## 13. Termination You can stop using Nova at any time — remove the bot from your server or simply stop messaging it. We may suspend or terminate access for users or servers that violate these terms. Sections 3, 4, 11, 12, and 14 survive termination. ## 14. Changes to These Terms We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of Nova after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. ## 15.
