Governance Stats
"Show me SIP governance stats"
Nova returns: total SIPs, open CAB voting instances, closed instances, number of CAB groups.
CAB Voting
"Are there any open CAB votes?"
Nova returns: whether voting is open or closed, vote tallies (yes/no/abstain), total votes cast, and voting instance history — and you can ask which SIPs have had CAB voting or whether any vote closed recently.
Alerts — Never Miss a Vote
Set up alerts once, and Nova will proactively notify you on Discord or Telegram when governance events happen:
CAB voting opens — "Alert me when CAB voting opens on any SIP" — notified the moment a vote is initiated, so you never miss your window
CAB voting closes — get the final tallies (yes/no/abstain) as soon as voting concludes
SIP status changes — track the full lifecycle: Draft -> Review -> Accepted -> Activation-in-Progress -> Ratified, including withdrawals
Specific SIP — "Alert me about any activity on SIP-034" — status changes AND CAB voting for one SIP
New SIPs — be the first to know when a proposal enters the registry
Catch-all governance — "Alert me about all SIP governance activity" — every status change, vote open/close, and new SIP in one alert
How it works: Nova checks for SIP and CAB changes every 2 hours. When your conditions match, you get a rich notification with SIP title, status change, vote tallies, and links to GitHub/forum — delivered on the platform where you set the alert up.

Nova returns: title, date/time, virtual vs in-person, location or meeting link, host, attendee count, token requirements, and on-chain attendance badges.
Event Alerts
"Alert me about new Stacks events"
Nova checks for new events every 30 minutes and notifies you about new listings, status changes, and events starting within the hour — you can also filter, e.g. virtual events only.
Free tier tip: With 2 alert slots, we recommend: (1) all SIP governance activity, and (2) new ecosystem events. This covers the most ground. Upgrade to Premium for more granular control.

Alerts are delivered on the same platform where you created them. DM alerts go to your DMs; channel alerts go to that channel. Nova remembers your conversation context, so you can refine alerts and drill deeper without starting over.
