# Alert History & Delivery Status

Check whether your Smart Alerts have been firing — and whether those alerts actually reached you. Just ask Nova; no command or setup needed. This page is the **audit** half of a pair: to review, toggle, snooze, or delete alerts, see [Managing Your Alerts (Web Dashboard)](/nova-bot/alerts-setup-guides/managing-your-alerts-web-dashboard.md).

{% hint style="info" %}
This is **self-serve and private**: Nova only ever shows you the activity of **your own** alerts. Available on Discord, Telegram, and the web widget.

## What You Can Ask

Ask broadly to list recent fires across **every** alert you own, with their delivery status:

> *"Show my alerts that fired recently"*

Or scope to a single alert by its ID (find IDs with *"list my alerts"*):

> *"Show history for alert #7"*

Nova answers conversationally — no wizard, no `/command`.

## What You'll Get

| Field               | Description                                                                |
| ------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Alert** | Which alert fired (name + type) |
| **Triggered at** | When the alert's conditions were met |
| **Delivered** | Whether the alert was actually sent to you |
| **Platform** | Where it was delivered (Discord / Telegram / widget) |
| **Delivery status** | `pending`, `delivered`, or `dead` (gave up after retries)                  |
| **Attempts** | How many delivery attempts were made |
| **Last error** | If a delivery failed, the reason — useful for "why didn't I get my alert?" |

## "Why didn't I get my alert?"

If an alert's conditions were met but nothing reached you, the delivery status explains why:

* **delivered** — it was sent; check the platform/channel it went to (and your Do-Not-Disturb / snooze settings).
* **pending** — it's queued and will be retried shortly.
* **dead** — delivery failed repeatedly and was given up on; the **last error** shows the cause (e.g. the bot was blocked, or DMs are closed).

{% hint style="warning" %}
A **snoozed** alert or active **Do-Not-Disturb** window can suppress delivery even when the alert fired. Ask *"is my whale alert snoozed?"* or *"what are my DND settings?"* to check.
{% endhint %}

To create, edit, pause, or clean up alerts, just tell Nova what you want (*"create a whale alert for STX over 100k"*). History only **reports** activity — it never changes your alerts.
